I became more and more interested in chess after I started travelling. Thankfully having another chessboi to play games against over 7 months really fostered my interest in it. Also seeing a random smattering of keen players over the travels really stoked a fire of interest in this game.
I’ve set myself the challenge to hit 2000 elo at some point but really not pushing myself as I want to keep this interest as a life long hobby and not burn out like I usually do. So lets just take it slowly and mark how my progress goes over time.
Still sitting around 800 ELO but I dont play nearly enough having my brain scattered across 100 other projects that I want to focus those down first.
